Welcome to Grade 5!

Dear Parents / Guardians,

In grade 5 we are very excited to be starting our new Unit of Inquiry which will lead to our grade 5 PYP Exhibition. This represents a significant event in the life of a PYP school and student. It is an opportunity for all Grade 5 students to demonstrate to an audience the skills they have developed through their first five years of school.

Students will undertake an in-depth inquiry into a meaningful and significant topic of their choice. The goal is to encourage action as a result of their learning. Students will require independence and responsibility while working towards the Exhibition, which will connect students, teachers, parents and other members of the school community, to celebrate their work.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Exhibition on the 23/24 March 2010!
