Welcome to the Diploma Programme Page!
Students in Grades 11 and 12 follow the International Baccalaureate's Diploma Programme. The Diploma Programme (DP) is a two year programme that prepares students for university and encourages them to ask challenging questions, learn how to learn, develop a strong sense of their own identity and culture and develop the ability to communicate with, and understand people from other countries and cultures. Students at the Diploma level are expected to meet the demands of this rigorous and demanding programme whilst at the same time be leaders and positive role models in the school and wider community.
Students following the Diploma Programme are required to study 6 subjects. In addition they must take a Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, write an Extended Essay and complete a Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) component. During the two-year programme, students are assessed both internally and externally in ways that measure individual performance against stated objectives for each subject. The IB diploma is widely recognized by the world's leading universities.
