What is Edline?

Edline is an online Learning Community Management System that many schools around the world use for school and class organization. The product aims at improving communication between parents, students, teachers and the entire learning community.

Edline enables parents to view class information specific to their child as well as being able to view school wide information.

How do I access my Edline Account if I am a new RIS parent?

Parents new to RIS will receive a letter in their child's agenda within the first few days of joining the school. The letter will contain an activation code and instructions on how to activate their Edline account.

How do I access my Edline Account if I am a returning RIS parent?

Returning RIS parents should already have a username and password to log onto their Edline pages.

If you have forgotten your username, click on the ‘forgot screen name’ link on the Edline login page and follow the instructions in order to retrieve your username.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the ‘forgot password’ link on the Edline login page and follow the instructions in order to retrieve your password.

If you are still unable to retrieve your username and/or password after using the ‘forgot my screen name/password’ option, please contact the RIS Edline Supervisor, Julene Grove by sending an email to jgrove@ris.ae

Edline also has a wonderful online help tool. The Edline online help tool has a list of topics in a Table of Contents that has been constructed to match the procedures of a specific user type such as teacher, parent, and student.
