Impressive List of College and University Acceptances
The 44 students in Raha's Senior Class of 2012 have already been accepted into an impressive list of colleges and universities around the world. Peruse the list of acceptances.
Students Tour, Volunteer in Four Countries
Raha Middle School students over spring break toured Tanzania, and donated their time, equipment and money to a primary school. See local newspaper article and professional video slideshow about their experiences, published on Raha's Facebook page. Raha students also toured Thailand with a company called Track of the Tiger, and worked in a rural school. See the slideshow and teacher Debbie Mann's report.
Grades 10 and 11 students toured China's Forbidden City, visited several museums, hiked part of the Great Wall, helped out for two long but amazing days at a migrant workers' children's school, See their photos. and a brief student essay. Photos and reports on the Sri Lanka trip to come.
Introducing E-Sports:
New After-School and Weekend Sports Academies
E-Sports, a consortium of athletic academies, now provides football, tennis, basketball, swimming, gymnastics, karate, and performing arts after school and on weekends at the Raha campus for students interested in developing and enhancing their skills. For details, click.

Slideshow of Art Exhibition and Opening Night Photos
Students in Raha’s Visual Art Class of 2012 presented their International Baccalaureate Diploma exam/art show at an event Monday night sponsored and hosted by the Westin Hotel, Resort and Spa at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club . The exhibition continues at the Westin through Wednesday. The exemplary show consists of nearly 100 art works that investigate such topics as “identity” and “unconscious behavior.” Raha is an IB World School attended by more than 65 nationalities. Principal Wayne MacInnis said “the Raha art program produces world class artists, and their performance in the IB diploma programme is well above the world standard.” Graduates of this program have been accepted into prestigious art schools such as the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, the Parsons School of Design in New York, and the University of London College of Fashion.
