New Student Document Checklist
Documentation
As a requirement by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) it is mandatory to provide the following documents to complete registration within the ADEK system.
Failure to provide the required documentation may result in cancellation of enrolment.
New Student Transfer Certificate & Attestation Requirements

Please see below the stamp and signature requirements per country of origin:
GCC Countries
- School Principal's signature and school stamp
- Ministry of Education in the current school's location
Non-GCC Countries (excluding Australia, Canada, USA, Western Europe*)
- School Principal's signature and school stamp
- Ministry of Education in the current school's location
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the current school's location
- UAE Embassy in the current school's location
Australia, Canada, USA & Western Europe*
- School Principal’s signature and school stamp
Another Emirate in the UAE
- School Principal's signature and school stamp
- Ministry of Education in the current Emirate
Another School in Abu Dhabi
No Transfer Certificate is required. The child's physical Emirates ID must be presented for reservation and transfer of the child's electronic school file when requested by Raha International School.
*Western European countries include: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Current/ Leaving/ Former students
Parents of current/leaving/former students can request documents in the Parents’ Area.
Transfer Certificate for leaving students
Transfer Certificates are an official document from ADEK that give a summary of your child’s enrolment history.
Mid-Year Leavers
Mid-year transfer certificates can be requested by filling in the withdrawal form. Transfer certificates for students leaving mid-year will be released 1-2 days from their last date of attendance.
If you require ADEK attestation, you will need to take the document to ADEK offices for their stamp or request it online through TAMM.
End of Year Leavers
For the end of year transfer certificates, note that ADEK will not issue these before the end of the academic year. The date for the release of this document is subject to change.

Abu Dhabi Transfers
Transfer certificates are not needed for transfer within Abu Dhabi. This is done with a digital transfer between schools in the eSIS system.
