Nicola’s love for education began over 20 years ago when she qualified with a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Since then, she has had amazing opportunities to teach and lead schools in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
Nicola joined Raha in 2019. She believes every educator's purpose is to inspire and spark a passion for learning in every child. The strength of the IB programme is that it sparks this passion by empowering each child to become global citizens. She loves that the IB celebrates diversity and guides the learners to take responsibility to become a principled citizen in a global community. It encompasses the whole child. It develops empathy, problem-solving, risk-taking, planning and leadership skills to help solve real issues to build a strong foundation for future success for all our children.
